Keiki Kingdom Grand Opening at Pearlridge: Family Fun and Tech Adventures Await
Today, October 26, Pearlridge Center will celebrate the grand opening of Keiki Kingdom's second location, offering a day full of family fun and adventure. Keiki Kingdom is not just a regular indoor playground but a place designed to strengthen family bonds, combining fitness and fun in an immersive, high-tech environment.
Upon entering, visitors receive grip socks for safe play, as the two-story facility is filled with engaging, interactive activities. The first floor caters to younger children, from elementary to middle school age, while the upper level is geared toward older kids, teens, and even adults. Peter Wang, the CEO and co-owner of Keiki Kingdom, emphasizes that the playground encourages parents to join in on the fun. "It's all about family bonding here. Parents and adults can participate alongside their children in our jungle gyms, trampolines, and more."
Keiki Kingdom’s second location also introduces several unique features never before seen in the U.S. The playground offers a Mario-themed indoor obstacle course, where players can race through an interactive adventure, and augmented reality (AR) games, including a trampoline-based AR experience and interactive shooting games.
Health and safety are paramount at Keiki Kingdom, with strict sanitation protocols in place. Staff carry spray bottles of sanitizer to clean toys and surfaces immediately after use, and a professional cleaning company uses hospital-grade sanitizers to ensure the playground remains safe for all visitors.
The first Keiki Kingdom location opened in Makiki, and now with the success of their second venue at Pearlridge, the company is exploring expansion to the neighbor islands and even potential franchises on the mainland.
The grand opening at Pearlridge Center runs from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., offering a full day for families to explore both levels of this dynamic play space.
