The incident unfolded at Century Park Plaza on Kamehameha Highway when the father visited his son's apartment around 6 p.m. While they were conversing, the son reportedly attacked his father with a kitchen knife and a guitar stand, resulting in severe head and arm injuries.

Neighbors, alarmed by the commotion, called 911. Emergency Medical Services arrived shortly thereafter and transported the victim to the hospital in serious condition with multiple cuts. The suspect was promptly taken into police custody, and authorities are actively investigating the case.
