Annual Pearl City Christmas Parade and Cruz Night Brings Holiday Cheer

The Pearl City community is gearing up for its much-loved annual Christmas Parade and Cruz Night, set to take place on Sunday, December 1. Sponsored by the Pearl City Shopping Center Merchants Association, this festive tradition promises an evening of holiday cheer, family fun, and community pride.

The parade begins at 4:00 PM, starting at Momilani Elementary School on Hookiekie Street, weaving through Hoolaulea Street, and concluding at Pearl City Shopping Center, between H Mart and The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf. Local schools, community organizations, sports teams, and businesses will join forces to bring the spirit of Christmas to life. Highlights include floats, costumed characters, classic cars, marching bands, and a special appearance by Santa himself.

Participants can compete for awards in categories like Marching, Christmas Spirit, and Vehicle Units, with first-place winners taking home $100 cash prizes and trophies for the top three in each category.

The celebration continues after the parade with the BLEIZN FX Cruz Night Car Show from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. This exclusive event will showcase some of Hawaii's finest hot rods and classic cars. Held on the Makai side of Pearl City Shopping Center near Flagship Fastlube and Union 76, attendees can enjoy door prizes throughout the evening.

This festive occasion has become a cherished family tradition, bringing joy and holiday spirit to the Pearl City community year after year.

Community:

Holiday Gift Fair at Pearlridge Center (former Toys R Us) - Nov 29 to Dec 1st from 10:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. This Black Friday weekend offers handmade gifts from local artisans while supporting Project Hawaii Inc., an organization aiding Hawai'i’s homeless children. Attendees are encouraged to donate gift cards, including meal cards ($9+), Walmart/Target cards ($15), and clothing store cards, to benefit children and teens in need. Admission is free, making it a perfect way to shop and give back.

The Three Wise Guys - Leeward Community Church’s Children’s Christmas Program. A modern retelling of the three wise men’s journey during their children’s Christmas program. December 1st at 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. The event features music, games, food, and door prizes. Free admission, but advance ticket reservation is required by November 24th. Palisades Top of the Hill - Enjoy a festive afternoon at the Pearl City Palisades Community Center on December 1 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. This free holiday event features live music by the Keiki Kani Choir at noon, an open market, a craft fair, and delicious local food.

Crafts:

Kawaii Friends Craft Fair - Find adorable handmade crafts made by talented artisans who love all things kawaii. Bring your friends and family beginning on Saturday, November 30 to Sunday, December 1 from 10 am to 5 pm at Pearlridge Center Wai Makai second level.

Red Heart Granny Square - Wednesday, December 4 from 10:30am-12:00pm. Join us for this brand new Crochet workshop! Come and learn how to use the new granny square. You will also be showed how to assemble the granny squares. Please bring your own crochet hook. (I-9 or 5.5 mm). Learn more
