Aiea Shopping Center Unveils Vibrant Renovations with Community Celebration

Aiea Shopping Center is thrilled to invite the community to "Refreshed & Rooted in Community," a special event celebrating the center's recent revitalization.

 

Mark your calendars for Thursday, August 21, at 11:00 AM, and join us in the open-air courtyard on the second floor.

 

This gathering honors the completion of extensive enhancements, including new elevators, updated signage, and a contemporary logo that reflects the center's rich 50-year history.

 

Adding to the visual appeal, commissioned mural art by local artists @jacksoren and @mystomiyashiro now adorns the premises, infusing the space with vibrant local culture.

 

The event will feature a traditional Hawaiian blessing, a dynamic Chinese lion dance by the @wahngailiondance Association, and live Hawaiian music performed by Kaniela Nakashima.

 

Special guests will also share remarks, emphasizing the center's commitment to the community.
