Terry and Carol Min have been serving scoops at Dave’s Ice Cream in the Pearl City Shopping Center for more than 15 years.

The shop sits on the makai side of the center next to Daiso, at 850 Kamehameha Highway in Pearl City.

Hours are 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday through Thursday.

Carol Min said, “It’s good to be here at the Pearl City Shopping Center. It’s been a long time, over fifteen years. Most of my steady customers are more like friends and family, almost ohana. Majority of my customers are all neighborhood people and very good friends.”

Carol named Green Tea as her favorite and a popular pick, and said Pumpkin Cheesecake Crunch is a seasonal flavor available through December.

The shop also offers shave ice, Halo Halo, ICEE and ice cream cakes.

Carol said Dave’s serves ice cream made fresh in Hawaiʻi and that there are eight Dave’s Ice Cream stores in the islands.
