Leeward Community College: A Hub of Excellence and Innovation

Leeward Community College (Leeward CC) continues to distinguish itself as a leader in education and community involvement, earning national recognition and implementing innovative programs that address local needs.

 

In 2025, the University of Hawaiʻi's Community College System, which includes Leeward CC, was ranked 11th best in the nation by a comprehensive analysis. This accolade underscores the system's commitment to affordable tuition, dedicated faculty and staff, and robust transfer opportunities to four-year campuses. Interim Vice President for Community Colleges Della Teraoka highlighted the system's dedication to providing pathways for every student to achieve their goals.

 

Leeward CC offers over 100 programs in fields such as healthcare, technology, trades, and the arts. With an annual tuition of $3,144, the college remains accessible to Hawaiʻi residents, further supported by the Hawaiʻi Promise Scholarship and other financial aid options.
