Newtown Community Unites for Traffic Safety Initiative

Newtown Estates residents and District 3 Community Policing Team (CPT) officers recently joined forces to promote traffic safety within their neighborhood.

 

Gathering at the Newtown Recreation Center, community members and officers engaged in a sign-waving event aimed at raising awareness about responsible driving practices.

 

This collaborative effort underscores the community's commitment to ensuring safer roads for all.

 

In addition to this initiative, the Newtown Historic Association hosted its Annual Garden Walk on June 7, 2025, showcasing the borough's beautiful gardens and fostering community spirit.
