A milestone night of music is coming to Pearl City High School this evening.

The 50th Annual Island Insurance O'ahu Marching Band Festival takes place Monday, November 2, at the school's Edwin "Bino" Neves Stadium.

According to Pearl City High School, the festival is a program of the school's Music Performing Arts Learning Center.

Gates open at 5:30 p.m., and the show starts at 6 p.m.

Tickets are sold at the gate for $10 general admission, and keiki 5 and under get in free.

Twelve high school marching bands are on the program.

Neighborhood favorites Aiea and Pearl City will perform alongside Leilehua, Mililani, Moanalua and Radford.

Bands from Castle, Kailua, Kalaheo, Kalani, Kapolei and Roosevelt round out the lineup.

Island Insurance is the festival's sponsor.

This year marks the festival's 50th edition.

The stadium is at 2100 Hookiekie Street in Pearl City.

It's a great chance to cheer on student musicians from across Oahu without leaving the neighborhood.
