Local children encouraged to showcase creativity in upcoming competition |
Young artists in Pearl City are encouraged to participate in the 2025 Fair Housing Keiki Art Contest, an event celebrating the theme "Fair Housing is Aloha."
This competition is open to students from kindergarten through eighth grade, divided into two categories: kindergarten to fourth grade and fifth to eighth grade.
Participants are invited to create original artwork on 8.5-by-11-inch paper using mediums such as pencil, ink, paint, marker, crayon, or watercolor.
First-place winners in each category will receive $250, second-place winners will receive $150, and third-place winners will receive $75.
Honorable mentions will also be recognized.
Submissions can be made online or by mail and must be received by October 31.
Winners will be announced in late November, with first-place artworks featured in the 2026 Hawaii Realtors calendar.
For more information, including the official entry form and guidelines, interested participants should visit the Hawai‘i REALTORS® Fair Housing Keiki Art Contest website.
This contest offers a wonderful opportunity for Pearl City's keiki to express their creativity while learning about the importance of fair housing in our community. |
