Community event expands to include craft fair, food trucks, and new adult costume category |
The Pearl City Shopping Center is thrilled to announce the return of its beloved Annual Halloween Costume Contest and Trick or Treat Parade on Saturday, October 25, 2025.
This year, the event promises even more excitement with the inclusion of the 808 Craft & Gift Fair and a variety of food trucks.
In a significant expansion of community collaboration, Lauren Ushijima Mori, owner of 808 Craft & Gift Fairs, is coordinating and sponsoring the craft fair and food trucks.
She has generously contributed over $1,000 in prizes for the costume contest.
Lauren expressed her gratitude for the ongoing partnership with the shopping center, highlighting the opportunity to support up to 40 local vendors, including Pearl City High School Project Grad and Pearl City Community Association.
The Halloween festivities will commence at 10:00 AM on the upper level near McDonald's, featuring costume contest registration and judging.
The awards ceremony, hosted by Stevo the Clown, will follow, leading into the Trick or Treat Parade around the shopping center.
Both the 808 Craft & Gift Fair and food trucks will operate from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM on the upper level.
Notably, this year's contest introduces a new Best Adult Single 18+ category, offering adults a chance to showcase their creativity and compete for cash prizes.
Confirmed food vendors include:
Kenington Kalua: Garlic beef, kalua pig
AB Crunch: Almond roca-type graham crackers
Liza's Ono Grindz: Nachos, spicy shrimp, fries, Chamorro chicken, fried chicken wings
Pearl City High School Project Grad: Baked goods
